I know I'm a little late, but I have been dealing with more medical issues (Gout) in the foot, but now after seeing an Orthopedic Surgeon, he thinks I am being treated for something I don't have,,,He is running blood tests on Monday to find out more....I hope they figure this out, the pain in my foot is worse then open heart surgery...and I'm not kidding....

I also wanted to give you an update on my health...The doctors managed to get my weight off during my Dialysis treamtnets...However, they still have no explanation to what caused it...I guess I'm so used to getting answers from their guessing box, that I'm just glad to have the weight gone...and we will see if it happens again....What else can I do, right? lol.....

Here is what you will receive by participating in the current HFD challenge....I have been sick and didn't have a chance to get involved with this one, but the others will have the required pieces for you to download to complete the challenge....Details are at the forum....thanks and have fun! So many have been asking for an update on my health...well it hasnt been too well lately....I have bloated so bad that in the last week I have gained 30 pounds....I feel uncomfotable, can't sleep, don't feel like eating, and they are cutting my fluids down to almost nothing....I have had many, many tests done and they haven't found anything out of the ordinary...the only conclusion they have right now, is my kidneys have completely shut down....which is not good for me...I am probably the 90,000th person on the donor list, so who knows....I feel a little better today, but no weight loss....they are trying to take pounds off through Dialysis, but it makes me crampy and lightheaded....and I gain it back quickly....But I will keep you all posted on the progress, if any...

Just FYI, I had my Fistula-Gram on Tuesday and they found 3 blockages...I just had 2 blockages in it three months ago...ugh...It went ok, now hopefully Dialysis will run a little smoother...I will get checked again in January to see how the Fistula is doing, crossing fingers I don't get anymroe blockages in the meantime...lol....

I was doodling on my photoshop last night, and came up with this cute crow...Instead of using it in a kit, I thought I would give it away to everyone...The download includes the crow .png file but also the .psd file so you can change things, add textures or patterns, etc...Remember, no credit is required, and I hold NO RULES on my CU stuff...No one likes all them darn rules, right? LOL....I know I don't...Some CU stuff I bought in the past, has like a 10 page TOU attached to it...Who wants to deal with all that crap just to use one flower or whatever the item may be...lol...So just have fun with it....

Just a quick note...Dialysis is going pretty good...I go on the 11th to get my blockage in the Fistula opened (again)...but good news is, in the last 90 days, I have lost 27 pounds!!! They always say, something good comes from something bad...

Like I have mentioned before, alot has been going on here at home with the family and myself...My brother's MIL passed away early yesterday morning...All plans for the funeral will be made today, I'm just waiting to hear something from my brother...She will be missed terribly... I spent an extra hour at my treatment yesterday because they couldn't get my arm to stop bleeding after taking out the needles...I will be scheduled for another ultrasound on my arm, since they are convinced I have another blockage in the Fistula....Wish me luck... Before you find out who August's winner is, I want to apologize for the delay in posting... I have been pretty ill, not able to do much of anything...I have no strength, no energy, and even though you would think I would be very tired...It's the opposite...I can't seem to sleep very well, which isn't helping...My Fistula tube might have a blockage in it again, and will get checked during my treatment on Monday with an ultrasound...This is just frustrating...I don't feel any better since these treatments started, if anything, I feel worse...They say it takes time...lol...well how much time?

Then my brother's MIL (who we are all so close too), found out she had brain cancer in July...She has been hospitalized ever since and we were told yesterday, there isn't much more they can do to help her...She has lots of infections, where they have to open her up and suck out the fluids...and the tumors are growing..if they do surgery, she will be paralyized(?) and she doesn't want to hurt anymore...She is giving up...Everyone has taken it pretty hard...She will remain in the hospital until she passes away...and they will keep her as comfortable as she can until that happens...>So please say some prayers for her...this is so sad...Thank you.... My Dialysis has sure taken a toll on me...Emotionally and physically...and the doctors said I would feel better...Yea right!!! I am always moody and ready to pounce on anyone who ticks me off...and that's not like me at all...lol...I hate leaving every other day just to get poked and sit there being bored...I wish I could figure something for me to do besides watching tv...I try to write my book as well, but the angle you have to sit in doesn't make it easy...So I gave up on that too....I feel like a wreck somedays....but it's not going to take me away from scrapping....I refuse to let it...LMBO!!! I feel like it's all I got left some days....

Some of you have been asking me about my Dialysis...Well, to be honest, it is going pretty good....Better then expected anyways...lol....The day of my treatments, I do come home exhausted....but that fades and I am back to normal...I don't see much of a change yet....except that I'm not holding as much water anymore...They said in time I will notice things....Yesterday it took them an hour to get the needles in and working...My arm looks worse now, then when I had my surgery...lol...If you look at the layouts above...Dina made a layout using a photo of me during my treatment...How I hate pictures....lol...Thanks again for all your sweet comments and concern...It keeps me going....((HUGS))

Since Father's Day is coming up, I thought you would all like this Cool Cat...lol...Have fun with it...and please give all your dads a huge hug....Mine passed away already and I miss him terribly...SO cherish the time you have with them...Life's too short....

My Dialysis is going ok...My first day was Tuesday for an hour and a half, then Thursday it was for 2 hours...now this tomorrow I go for my full 3 and a half hours...This will definitely take some time to get used too...My arm is pretty bruised already...So far my liquid allowance is 15 cups....which includes certains foods too like ice cream, sherbet, etc...I know it will all get easier...Just can't picture doing this forever...ugh...takes a lot of time away from home....I'm still debating on whether or not I should bring the laptop....lol...We will see.... Thanks for all your sweet wishes and support...((HUGS)) NOW IT's VOTING TIME!!!!

I know this isn't red, white and blue for the upcoming holiday this weekend...But, it is still a great, and huge kit for FREE....Awhile back I had this kit for sale, but it has been revamped and I added a whole bunch of new things to it too...I feel bad for not keeping up with my blogging like I once did....so I wanted to give out something...lol...We are still waiting for my Fistula to heal in my arm, so I have less doctor appointments right now...and I am loving the extra time on my hands...I will find out when the Dialysis starts sometime next month...So far they have decided that I will be going Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays...I was kind of upset that I was going to be scheduled to go on weekends...ugh...Not to mention, 4 hours each visit...Gad, thats a long time to just sit there...I am thinking of writing a book about my life during these appointments...Something to pass the time, and something I have been thinking about doing for awhile now...Any of you want to be the first to buy one? lol....I have a pretty long list already... Well I have a nephew that does...So I made these quickpages that you can print out on photo paper or regular poster paper, and then have them color them...Then they can tape or glue the picture they want to use on the back of the layout after cutting out the photo area...My nephew loved the idea, and kept him busy for hours...He now has a whole album of layouts made like this...But he did most of the creativity....Awesome idea for the little ones...Let's get them involved early...lol....Available now at Crafty Scraps...

As most of you know I have had a major surgery done on my left arm to have my graft put in for Dialysis...The surgery tok longer then expected because the surgeon had to do it twice...lol...Yup, my luck...he was sewing me up and noticed my hand was turning real cold and blue...Here he cut the blood flow and circulation off...He had to unsew my arm, and redo the graft all over again...He accidently sewn up a vein...lmao..I'm telling ya, I have no luck...I was so bruised...My arm is still numb including my index finger and thumb...He isn't sure if that will ever go away..he had to do alot of moving things around to get the graft in...My arm is still sore...But I am doing fine..and I appreciate all the concerned emails and e-greeting I received from everyone...that was so very sweet of you all....

Many of you have been asking how I am doing....I am doing pretty good....I have been sick on and off, but hey, that is expected...Look who we are deaing with, right? LOL... I was really sick in December, and since then, I can't seem to shake it...Good news, is my kidney numbers are coming down slowly...So we are trying to shove Dialysis on the back burner for now...It is still being mentioned, but so far, nothing is being done due to my numbers...So maybe I can keep them stable enough...The doctors feel however, that going on Diialysis might make me feel better...I'm just happy it isn't going to happen for awhile yet...

Other then that, I am good...I hope everyone else is doing well...I am hoping for a better year for everyone....and thank you for all your donations and support in my forum...We sire are having fun over there nnd giving so much away for FREE....It's not even funny....lol...Well, ok, it is...But if you don't go over there, you won't be able to join in our fun.....No sign up is required, just pop in and start downloading our goodies, or join in a challnege or two... You get a bunch of free peices to use in a layout and then when you post that layout you get a full mega kit for free! So easy! You should all play!

What is HFD you ask? Well HFD stands for Hide, Find and Design. Here is what you do...You start off at my blog, I will give you a link to the next blog, and so on...the last gal's blog will send you to my forum which is HERE....You will then get a simple set of rules telling you what to do with all the pieces you collected...You then, post your layout in that thread in the forum and whoo-hoo! More news on my medical issues...and they aren't good either....I have some internal bleeding going on, causing me to be Anemic...I have to go friday to the hospital for some Iron through an IV...fun huh? Tomorrow, I go for an MRI, then an ultrasound on the heart, then my eyes get tested,,,I had another blackout episode and it is really starting to get to me...Scary, ya know?

Then, my Creantine number for the kidneys went up to 3.9 !!! Renal failure starts at 4.0 so I have to really watch myself...They are seriously considering putting me on Dialysis now....ALL my vitamins are low...Now with another blood test that came back, my Zinc is also low...I can't win...lol...I am also going to be scheduled for a stress test again...Tomorrow I start the heart monitor....I have to wear all that crap for 14 days...Yippee!!!!!!!! Anywho, that's the main stuff... Now, on to your freebie....((HUGS))

I also want to take a minute to give you an update on my medical issues...A whole bunch of stuff is going on at once right now...So I am going through test after test...First they found I have a Cellulitus infection in my left foot and leg...and I have been so sick (like the flu almost) that they think that the infection might have spread to my stomach...EEK...Then I was tested for some disease that causes your joints to separate...Forgot what it was called, but it can happen in Diabetics...Go figure..lol...I am now Anemic...and also I have been experiencing weird black outs...Funny thing is I do not pass out..I am coherent, but I jsut can't remember what I did...So today I went for an EDG, which is a test on the brain waves and Thursday I go for an MRI to have my brain tested...They said I could be having mini strokes or seizures...I will find out some results on my blood work tomorrow when I see the doctor...Keep our fingers crossed...Thanks...

I also want to quick say thank you for the lovely emails of concern and even the donations from some of you to help me out...It is so appreciated...Either way, I will keep the freebies coming... Bless your hearts for the help...((HUGS))

My surgery didn't go as planned...They inserted some dye in my arm and then went in with a scope to check out my veins...After 45 minutes of searching, they determined that my veins would not be strong enough for a Fistula...I was a little upset...But dealing with it like I do with everything else...

MEETING MAKEYESUP FROM SBM

Makeyesup (Maureen) was one of the forst ladies that I met at ScrapbookMax!

She was always supportive with my projects/kits and layouts...We had an opportunity to meet a couple months ago, but due to medical issues I couldn't do it...So when I received an email from her telling me that I had another chance to meet her, I jumped to the idea...

On Oct. 27th we made plans to meet at Culver's here in Sheboygan, Wi...(which is where I live.

I went a little early to get a salad before her bus arrived....

I get a text from Maureen telling me that she would be there in about 10 minutes...I was so excited...Well 10 minutes went by, 20 minutes went by...and no bus...

She finally texted me again asking where I was...I wrote her back saying I was inside already.

Well to make a long story short, I was at the wrong Culver's...lol...I had no clue that my own city had two of them...rofl...By the time I drove waaaaaaaaaaaay across town, we had about 13 minutes to share some laughs, take some photos, and give each other a couple hugs...

She sure is a sweet lady and a day the both of us will never forget...lol...

Here is a new kit of mine in the store....This kit started as some items for the HFD MEGA....So there are a couple pieces in here that you might find in the MEGA kit, but there are lots more different things that aren't included in the HFD....Very pretty kit...

The photo's are actually very old...Some are over 100 yrs old...My mom and I found them in my Grandma's house...I have so many to scrap...The cute baby girl is actually my mom, and the baby boy is one of my uncles...The old wedding photo's is friends of my Grandma, all dead now...But my Grandma was only a teenager in the group photo one....They did a wonderful job on these layouts...Thanks gals...((HUGS)) I will be back soon....enjoy your evening....((HUGS))
